About us

Knaken is a platform for anyone seeking access to the promise of crypto. It is a secure place where you can trade and store various cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, Cardano, and many others. Driven by our passion for technology and digital currencies, we started this company and employ a 'Keep it stupid simple' and 'No-nonsense' approach. We offer our customers extensive support and regularly write blogs to keep you informed about developments in the crypto world.

The team consists of a group of enthusiastic individuals, each with their own unique qualities and passions, allowing us to complement each other and achieve great results together. We work together on the success of Knaken and, according to some, even towards a better world.

Founded

Ronald and Vincent started the company and secured the website. The first step was taken. In 2018, the first version of our website went live.

2017

Growth

After the launch in 2018, our product and customer base grew into a successful startup. The first colleagues were added to the team, and Knaken started the DNB registration process.

2019

Sponsorships

In February 2021, our DNB registration was completed. Shortly after, Knaken entered into partnerships with Feyenoord, among others, and launched its mobile app. Knaken grew to 11 employees

2021

Settle

In the summer of 2022, the launch of Knaken Settle took place. With this, we are one step closer to our vision for crypto.
